Rates

I believe in transparency and accessibility and try to make sure my practice reflects this as well. My rates are as follows:

Postpartum Doula Services: $55/hr

Queer Parenting Support: $35/hr

Meal Support: Differs based on package; listed on page.

Abortion Support: Pay what you can.

The rates listed above are my "mid-tier" rates, however please see the following list + "Green Bottle" graphic below to see if you feel you connect with paying more or less than these rates. Discounted package are also available for EVERY tier.

Sliding Scale System


A sliding scale is used to encourage people to pay according to their available resources. Those with greater financial privilege contribute more, allowing those with less access, to pay according to their means. This allows my business to sustain its services while making accessibility as broad as possible. I will not never question the tier you choose, but I just ask that you think deeply and honestly about how you may answer these questions to decide what you are able to afford at this time.

Consider paying the listed price if you...

  • are single and/or without dependents

  • are able to repay your student loans, are in repayment or have a plan for paying of your loans

  • have employee health insurance and/or other employee benefits

  •  have daily reliable transportation

  • are able to miss work either for sickness or leisure when needed, and are still able to pay next month's bills

  • are able travel when needed, especially for an unexpected occasion, like a family or health emergency

Consider paying less if you...

  • are supporting children or have other dependents

  • have significant debt

  • have medical expenses not covered by insurance

  • are eligible for public assistance

  • have immigration related expenses

  • are an unpaid community organizer

  • are a returning citizen who has been denied work due to incarceration history

  • experience discrimination in a hiring or health context (due to your race, size, identity, etc.)

  • are descended from enslaved people or Indigenous Americans

Consider paying more if you...

  • own the home you live in

  • have investments, retirement. accounts, or inherited money

  • travel for recreation

  • have access to family money and resources in times of need

  • work part time or are unemployed by choice

  • have a relatively high degree of earning power due to level of education, gender privilege, racial privilege, thin privilege, class background, etc. (Even if you are not currently exercising your earning power, I ask you to recognize this as a choice.)

$65/hr - Postpartum Doula Services
