What is an Abortion Doula?
-Non-medical care who provides evidenced-based information on things such as options for getting an abortion, ways to access an abortion, going with them to a clinic, resource/information navigation and emotional and physical recovery before, during and after an abortion
-Care is person-centered and is individualized to fit the person receiving care
-Helps to nurture the individual, advocate for what they need, educate them without overloading them, and offer referrals for other resources when appropriate
All abortion support services are pay what you can. I recognize that this might be a confusing or difficult time and requires mental, emotional, and physical energy, whether this decision is an easy or difficult one to make!

Assistance with navigating abortion options
Hourly support (virtually or in-person in NYC)
Educational and resource navigation support
Expectation management + preparation
Embodiment/grounding techniques + somatic breathwork
Accompaniment to clinic
Advocating for your safe and inclusive treatment + creating space to assist you in safely self-advocate
Help with navigating paperwork and/or insurance coverage
Assistance in safely acquiring a self-managed abortion (SMA) at home
Ease pain and stress levels
Light meal support after in-clinic procedure or SMA
Support with mental and physical recovery
Providing individualized referrals
The specific services I will provide you with are 100% up to you! The support I provide is individualized to make sure we are taking into account the ways that you best learn, the types of support that you feel are the most helpful during this time. We will always leave room for your wants and needs to fluctuate.
This timeline will differ on an individual basis, but here's a little on what to expect.
Virtual Consultation (30 min - 1 hr)
This can either be a Zoom or a phone call, where we can get to know each other, determine if we're the best fit for one another and where I can hear about your specific needs in the area of abortion support.

Virtual Visits (15 min - 1 hr)
After our initial consultation, we will move into virtual visits that can be anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour in length.
These visits serve as a way for me to provide you with the above-mentioned services. Visits can be booked prior to and/or after your abortion.
In-Person Visits (1 hr - 4 hrs)
Any visit that requires physical support - such as going to a clinic with you, helping you to shop for any supplies, preparing your home to help manage physical comfort, preparing you a meal - will take place in person.
